HGUC MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom 1/144

This is a High Grade Gunpla model kit of the MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom mobile suit in 1/144th scale.

This gunpla kit features pre-coloured parts and snap fit assemble allowing for the completed articulated model to be built and displayed without the need for any glues or paints. When built you will have a faithfully reproduced model of the MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom as piloted by Norris Packard and featured in the events of Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team.

This enhanced version of the Gouf features a number of custom appointments improving the overall versatility and combat effectiveness of the mobile suit compared to the standard mass production version.

The kit recreates fine details and includes gimmicks such a poseable mono-eye (can be moved via an adjustment switch underneath the head which allows for more dynamic posing options.

Fine details like the colour separation of the shield and cockpit details have been recreated via colour separated pieces which results in a highly details model when complete.

This version of the mobile suit comes with the standard load out of weapnory and equipment employed by Norris Packard in the 08th MS Team, including:

• Triple 35mm Gatling Gun - this weapon was designed as a replacement for the standard units built-in finger machine gun which replaced the left manipulator. Allowing this unit to use a standard manipulator greatly increases the versatility of the mobile suit allowing for it to utilise a wider range of weaponry allowing it to effectively take part in a wider range of combat scenarios. Capable of mounting to the left forearm and featuring replaceable magazines it could carry more ammunition than the standard unit. It also provides the mounting point for the Gatling Shield System. This model version features a movable sight and an armour panel that locks into the bottom of the left hand.
• Gatling Shield System - This weapons system was developed in response to the deployment of beam saber equipped Earth Federation mobile suits being able to more effectively engage in close combat with the standard Gouf Type-B units. The entire unit system can be discarded to increase mobility. The system comprises of:
  • Gouf Shield - this standard Gouf shield can be built and used with or without the gatling gun. The shield also provides a storage point for the heat sword. This model kit version features colour separated parts to provide a fine level of colour details without the need for any stickers.
  • 75mm Gatling Gun - a cyclic 6-barrel gatling gun capable of a high rate of fire over a sustained period, it is capable of destroying opposing mobile suits at distance. The gatling gun is attached to the shield via a dedicated frame. If required the gatling gun can be removed from the shield to increase manoeuvrability without sacrificing defensive capability. A feature which is retained with this model kit version.
  • Heat Saber Type-DIII - this heat blade weapon offers a longer reach than the standard heat hawk equipped to zaku units and can be used with or without heating the blade. When not in use it can be stored in the back of the shield.
• Heat Rod (Anchor Type) - this multi-purpose weapon is features a magnetic anchor and a greatly extended range compared to the standard pass production Gouf heat rod. The cable itself it strong enough to suspend the mobile suit allowing for it to be used for various utility. As an offensive weapon it is capable delivering an electrical shock which can incapacitate opposing mobile suits. This model kit version of the weapon features a 1.5mm diameter poseable flexible wire that is 200mm long.

A range of hand options are included allowing for the kit to recreate a variety of iconic poses with and without the included weaponry.
