MG Gundam Barbatos 1/100

This is a Master Grade Gunpla model of the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos mobile suit featured in Mobile Suit Gundam Iron blooded orphans.

This MG Gunpla kit features pre-coloured parts and snap fit assembly allowing for the finished model to be built ready for display without the need for glues or paints. When completed you will have an articulated model that faithfully reproduces the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos mobile suit as piloted by Mikazuki Augus in 1/100th scale.

This kit features a full frame befitting a master grade kit is included which offers high levels of details like the Ahab Wave Reactors and provides fluid posing. These details include:

The exterior finished of this kit is based on the fourth form of the Barbatos with all of the external armouring being provided in fully colour separate parts with no need for any colour correcting stickers. 

The inner frame is densely packed with gimmicks offering greater articulation and additional details, including:

• Silver plated functional piston shafts which are revealed as the kit moves.
• The Ahab Reactor in the chest is equipped with a rotating gimmick.
• The movement of the upper body allows the internal frame, cylinders and armour to move in conjunction. This makes it possible to create dynamic posing without needing to constantly fiddle with multiple parts independently.
  
• The cylinders in the shoulders reproduce a mechanical structure that reveals the pistons when the shoulders are brought forwards on butterfly joints. This allows for the model to aggressive poses to recreate Mikazuki's melee focused combat scenes.
  
• The knees move in conjunction with the frame and cylinders. By pulling out the parts behind the knees, the range of motion is expanded, allowing for a natural kneeling pose.
  
• In standby mode, left and right swinging and hip joint axis movement are reproduced. The characteristic downward-looking powered down pose can be recreated.
• An opening cockpit hatch gimmick is present, when opened it reveals the 1/100 seated Mikazuki pilot figure.

This kit includes the most iconic weaponry wielded by the Gundam Barbatos, including:

• 300mm Smoothbore Gun - This massive projectile weapon prioritises raw stopping power over accuracy. For this model kit it features an articulated handle to support a wider range of poses, a sliding mechanism at the handle to recreate firing scenes and a folding barrel to show the weapon it its stored mode. When not in use it can be stored on the backpack of the mobile suit.
• Mace - featuring an integrated pile bunker the spike in the centre of the mace is capable of extending to recreate scenes where it is used to piece enemy armour. Thruster details on the rear of the mace are shown on this model version. Two of the mace fins can be removed and wielded independently as smaller knife weapons. When not in use the mace can be stored on the backpack of the mobile suit by using the included weapon storage adapters.
• Large Sword - a large melee weapon, when not in use it can be stored on the backpack by using the included weapon storage adapters.

The hands on this kit feature an articulate thumb and swappable fingers to support a wide range of posing options both with and without the included weaponry.

A sheet of sticker style marking decals are included with this kit allowing for additional surface details to be applied to the finished model.

This kit includes pilot figures of Mikazuki Augus, one that can be placed in the cockpit hatch and another free standing figure.
