MG RX-93-v2 Hi-Nu Gundam Ver. Ka 1/100

This is a Gunpla model of the MG RX-93-v2 Hi-Nu Gundam Ver. Ka mobile suit featured in Mobile Suit Gundam Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children.

This Master Grade Gunpla kit features pre-coloured parts and snap fit assembly allowing for the finished model to be built ready for display without the need for glues or paints. When completed you will have an articulated model that faithfully reproduces the RX-93-v2 Hi-Nu Gundam mobile suit as piloted by Amuro Ray in 1/100th scale.

Featuring an updated design and colour scheme from the legendary mecha designer Hajime Katoki this version of the Hi-Nu Gundam pushed the very limits of what a plastic model kit could be at the time of its release. Featuring a near complete inner frame and multiple opening and closing hatches which reveal either inner frame details or thruster verniers. These hatches can be found in the following areas:

• Hatches in the rear skirting armour
• Hatches in the rear of the legs which reveal thruster vents
• Hatches in the forearms to reveal additional weaponry
• Hatches in the funnel racks to provide beam saber storage
• Opening chest vents
• Hatches in the shoulder armour which reveal inner frame details

In addition to these hatches and vents the mobile suit also features an opening cockpit hatch. When opened it is possible to see the included 1/100 scale seated Amuro Ray pilot figure in his normal suit. Additionally the cockpit also features a sliding door allowing for access to the cockpit without fully opening the hatch.

This kit is compatible with (sold separately) bandai LED unit 1 (green). When installed into the chest of the mobile suit the LED unit allows the mobile suits eyes and main head camera to illuminate.

This kit also comes with a wide variety of the HI-Nu gundams weaponry and equipment, including:

• Beam Rifle - the Hi-Nus primary weapon features a variable output and can also be used as a beam machine gun.
• New Hyper Bazooka - featuring a extendable barrel this weapon offers improved destructive power over previous versions of the hyper bazooka. A moving handle allows for a greater rage of poses to be achieved with this weapon held in the hands. When not in use this weapon can be stored on the backpack of the mobile suit.
• Three Beam Sabers - including two clear blue beam blade effect parts. When not in use two beam saber hilts can be stored in the fin funnel racks on the backpack and a third can be stored inside the compartment on the rear of the left forearm. The beam saber stored in the left forearm can be used whilst still mounted within the forearm compartment to function as a beam tonfa.
• Shield - featuring an integrated beam cannon and missile launcher on the rear side of the shield.
• Six Fin Funnel weapons - these funnel weapons are capable of being operated independently of the main mobile suit and provide newtype pilots significant combat efficiency. Each of the six funnels come with an articulated display arm that can be attached to the included display base allowing you to replicate poses with the funnels during use. When not in use they can be stored on the funnel racks mounted to the backpack of the mobile suit.
• Integrated Beam Gatling Gun - housed in the right forearm compartment this beam gatling gun features a sliding gimmick to convert into its deployed state. The gatling gun also features a beam emitter in between the barrels which allows for the weapon to function as a beam tonfa. When used in this form the gatling gun is compatible with the beam saber blade effect parts.
• 60mm Vulcan Gun - housed in the head of the of the mobile suit these vulcan guns are provide various utility such as intercepting incoming missiles.

An Amuro Ray logo display stand is included with this kit which allows the mobile suit to be displayed in aerial poses and auxiliary display arms are included giving you the option of displaying the funnel weapons in an activated attack state around the Hi-Nu Gundam.

The attachment arm of the dedicated display stand can be additionally used in conjunction with an optional stand piece to help support the mobile suit in regular standing poses.

A sheet of waterslide decals is included with this kit to provide various Katoki style markings and colour apps which would otherwise require airbrush painting to accomplish.

Additionally a 1/100 scale pilot figure of Amuro Ray is included and can be displayed alongside the model.
