HGUC RX-78-2 Gundam (Revive) 1/144 - Product Description
This is a High Grade Gunpla model kit of the RX-78-2 Gundam mobile suit in 1/144th scale.
This gunpla kit features pre-coloured parts and snap fit assemble allowing for the completed articulated model to be built and displayed without the need for any glues or paints. When built you will have a faithfully reproduced model of the RX-78-2 Gundam piloted by Amuro Ray as featured in Mobile Suit Gundam.
When complete this kit turns into an articulated model that faithfully reproduces the mobile suit from the anime. Thanks to an impressive level of articulation the kit is capable of reproducing iconic scenes from the anime.
Compared to the original HGUC release this updated model kit has over 1.5x as many points of articulation and the range of motion from those joints has been greatly improved. Even the layout of parts on the runners has been improved with care taken to aide in easier assemble and wedge shaped gates are used to make gate processing easier whilst building the kit.
Double jointed elbows and knees allow for more expressive posing options and even allow for the model to be posed grabbing its beam saber from its backpack. Enhanced shoulder articulation even allows for the final firing pose to be recreated.
The gundams most iconic load out of weaponry is included with this set, including:
- Beam Rifle - featuring articulation on both the scope and the foregrip allowing for two handed firing poses
- Two Beam Sabers - with clear pink effect parts, then not in use the handles can be stored on the backpack
- Hyper Bazooka - features an articulated handle and when not in use the hyper bazooka can be stored on the rear skirting armour
- Shield
A range of hand options are included with this kit for wielding the included weaponry.
