MG FA-101A FAZZ (Ver. Ka) 1/100

This is a Master Grade Gunpla model kit of the FA-101A FAZZ (Full Armour Double Zeta) mobile suit featured in Gundam Sentinel.

This MG Gunpla kit features pre-coloured parts and snap fit assembly allowing for the finished model to be built ready for display without the need for glues or paints. When completed you will have an articulated model that faithfully reproduces the FA-101A FAZZ mobile suit in 1/100th scale.

Featuring an updated design supervised by Hajime Katoki the weapons and armour have been refined to give the mobile suit an impressive sense of heft. Created as a test bed for the development of the ZZ Full Armour form. 

Despite the massive heft of this mobile suit in its fully armoured form, the additional armour has been designed in such a way to minimise interference with articulation. This results in a surprisingly poseable kit in its armoured state. Various armour panels will move out of the way to allow for a greater range of articulation.

The additional armour can be removed to reveal a more lightly armoured form within, which is still capable of wielding the double beam rifle. While not accurate to the source material for this particular unit it is a nice additional feature available as part of this model kit to reveal a pseudo prototype ZZ Gundam.

The FAZZ armour houses various missile pods with opening hatches which can be opened and closed to recreate firing poses.

The mobile suit comes with its range of weaponry and equipment that remains true to the source material, including:

• Hyper Mega Cannon - attached to the backpack an articulated arm, this massive cannon functions as the primary long range weapon of the unit.
• Double Beam Rifle - capable of being attached to the rear of the arm or held in the hand, this prototype version of the ZZs double beam rifle offers potent long range fire power.
• Back Beam Cannons - Adapted from the beam cannons of the S Gundam, these cannons are based on the design of the hyper beam sabers that would eventually be used by the ZZ Gundam to test component fitment. However, unlike the ZZs hyper beam sabers these cannons are only capable of ranged fire.
• Missile Launchers - multiple missile launchers with functional hatches are integrated into the kit in various locations. including:

  • Chest x2
  • Left Arm
• Full Armour System

The hands on this kit feature an articulated thumb and swappable fingers to provide a range of posing options both with the included weaponry and without.

A massive sheet of Katoki style waterslide decals are included with kit featuring various caution markings as well as unit designation markings allowing you to customise your kit into any of the three FAZZ units which built and adopted by Task Force Alpha in universe.

Some additional extra parts are included in the box allowing you to build an alternate coloured ZZ transformable core fighter with clear landing gear. Some additional spare hands are also included. Finally a spare 1/100 standing pilot figure of Judau Ashta is left over on some of the reused ZZ Ver Ka runners.
