MG FA-78 Full Armor Gundam [Gundam Thunderbolt] (Ver. Ka) 1/100

This is a Master Grade Gunpla model of the FA-78 Full Armor Gundam [Gundam Thunderbolt] (Ver. Ka) mobile suit featured in Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt.

This MG Gunpla kit features pre-coloured parts and snap fit assembly allowing for the finished model to be built ready for display without the need for glues or paints. When completed you will have an articulated 1/100th scale model that faithfully reproduces the FA-78 Full Armor Gundam as piloted by Io Fleming and featured in Gundam Thunderbolt.

This version of the full armor gundam features an updated design supervised by renowned mecha designer Hajime Katoki.

Utilising a significant amount of detachable armour, you are able to choose between displaying the standard gundam or its fully armoured load out. The protective joint covers have been reproduced using vinyl sealing.

The kit features an array of functional missile hatches which can be found in the following locations:

• Shoulders
• Front, side and rear skirting armour
• Knees
• Missile pod attached to the rocket booster backpack

Additional gimmicks include an opening and closing cockpit hatch which can which opened reveals the seated pilot figure and removable core block. When removed the core block can transform into an emergency escape pod. The fully armoured feet feature functional gripping claws.

As the name suggests this model kit comes with a massive range of weaponry and equipment including:

• Twin Beam Rifle - The main offensive weapon wielded in the right hand. One of the shields can be integrated into the rear of this weapon.
• Four Shields - these shields can be equipped to multiple points allowing for wide ranging defence.
• Three Beam Sabers - two clear pink beam effect parts are included for use with these beam sabers. When not in use two of the beam saber handles can be stored on the Rocket Booster Backpack and the third can be stored at the base of the regular backpack. The regular backpack Beam Saber attachment features articulation allowing you to recreate poses of the Beam Saber being drawn.
• Handheld Rocket Launcher - wielded in the left hand, one of the shields can be integrated into the rear of this weapon.
• Rocket Booster Backpack - a large multipurpose backpack that enahances both the mobility of the Full Armor Gundam as well as boasting several offensive and defensive features.
  • Large Laser Cannon - Mounted on the right shoulder this large cannon features articulation on multiple axis
  • 6-tube Missile Pod - Mounted on the left shoulder this missile pod features articulation on multiple axis and opening and closing doors to reveal the missiles within.
  • Two sub-arms - featuring multiple points of articulation and functional claw manipulators these sub-arms are capable of holding two of the included shields.

The hands included in this kit feature an articulated thumb and swappable fingers offering a wide variety of posing options both with and without the included weaponry.

For additional customisation options two different versions of the chest vents are included, covered and uncovered. In addition to this a large sheet of Katoki style waterslide decals are included allowing for a significant amount of fine details to be applied to the kit after construction.

A display stand is included with this kit.
