MGSD ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam

Bandai Spirits Master Grade SD (MGSD) Gunpla model kit of the ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam piloted by Shinn Asuka and featured in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. This kit utilises pre-coloured parts and snap fit assembly technology allowing for an articulated and detailed model to be built without the need for any glues or paints.

This kit features a highly detailed full inner frame featuring metallic silver parts and multiple colours providing a striking model even without any of the armour panelling.

Once built the model features tons of articulation and sliding armour gimmicks to ensure that articulation is not hindered. Despite the chibi proportions you will still have a highly poseable kit. Despite its re-imagined proportions this model is the Destiny Gundam through and through. It is capable of reproducing iconic poses from the anime and includes a wealth of weapons and accessories to help it do so.

The mobile suits wings can be extended for posing in their opened state and feature multiple points of articulation allowing for a great degree of highly expressive poses. In addition to this large effect parts have been included allowing for its wings of light to be reproduced in model kit form.

The MGSD Destiny Gundam comes with a wide variety of weapons and equipment, including:

• MA-BAR73/S High-Energy Beam Rifle - featuring a moving sight camera and moving foregrip to support two handed poses. This weapon provides the basic ranged attack capability for this gundam. When not in use this weapon can be stored on the rear skirting armour of the mobile suit.
• Anti-Beam Shield - functioning as a standard shield this model kit version features multiple layers parts providing a satisfying sense of heft and includes a sliding extension gimmick allowing more red details to be seen within.
• MX2351 "Solidus Fulgor" Beam Shield Generator - beam shield generators are integrated into the backs of the hands of this mobile suit. This model kit includes a clear blue beam shield effect part allowing for a beam shield generator to be shown being used.
• M2000GX High-Energy Long-Range Beam Cannon - featuring a moving handle allowing for smoother posing this massive cannon can be folded down and stored on the articulated storage mounts on the backpack of the mobile suit.
• MMI-X340 "Palma Fiocina" Palm Beam Cannon - each palm includes a small beam cannon that is represented in this model kit with gloss injection silver parts. The wrists include articulation allowing for poses of the palm beam cannons being used to be recreated with this model.
• RQM60F "Flash-Edge 2" Beam Boomerang - this pair of boomerang weapons are stored in the shoulders when not in use. Capable of being thrown as a boomerang or used as handheld melee weapons this kit includes two different kinds of clear beam blade effect parts to represent the different uses of the weapon. One shorter set of angled blades and a two larger straighter ones for melee use. The handles feature a point of articulation to support a wider range of poses.
• MMI-714 "Arondight" Beam Sword - This massive sword includes a clear beam blade effect part. Primarily designed for anti-ship uses this melee weapon has proved useful in a range of combat scenarios. When not in use this weapon can be folded down and stored on the articulated storage mounts on the backpack of the mobile suit. The handle of this weapon features rotation to support a wider range of poses form the model kit.

The hands on this kit feature articulated fingers allowing for a wide rage of poses to be recreated with and without the included equipment.

To provide more surface details a sheet of sticker style marking decals is included with this kit.
