RG Gundam Astray Red Frame 1/144

This RG gunpla of the MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray features a new design take on the classic mobile suit with enhanced surface details and a more mechanical focus giving the impression of a more realistic looking machine when complete. 

This kit features a pre-coloured moulded plastic parts and snap fit assembly technology which allows the finished articulated model of the mobile suit to be built and displayed without the need for any glues or paints. The resulting model is a faithful reproduction of the Gundam Astray Red Frame piloted by Lowe Guele in the events of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray.

Utilising an Advanced MS Joint internal frame that comes partially pre-assembled right on the runners this model kit builds up in a convincing manner that is reminiscent of a real world version of the iconic mobile suit. Giving you the experience of building a mobile suit from the frame up, first building the internal frame and then attaching layered armour panels on top.

To enhance the realistic mechanisms this model features linked movements where the internal frame and external armour slide and extend in unison which mimics the movement of human muscles. This can notably be seen in the upper leg and around the knee with multiple linked armour panels that will move when the knee it bent.

The feet offer notable levels of articulation allowing for bending at multiple points across the foot and toes allowing for a range of highly dynamic ground poses to be achieved. This works especially well with the range of melee weapons provided with this kit.

The mobile suits distinctive colour scheme is reproduced with moulded colours. Two different shades of red are used across the frame and additional white panels to accentuate the detailed panel separation featured on this kit.

This set comes with a full array of weapons and equipment for use with the Gundam Astray Red Frame providing you with its full standard load out. Including:

• Type 71 Beam Rifle - with movable foregrip allowing for two handed firing poses. When not in use the beam rifle can be stored on the rear skirting armour of the mobile suit.
• Gerbera Straight - this massive katana features fine colour separation with a plated chromed blade featuring sharpened edge detailing. A scabbard is included for housing the Gerbera Straight when not in use. The scabbard comes with an attachment piece allowing it to be mounted to the side skirting armour, additionally if desired the scabbard can also be mounted to an attachment point on the leg of the mobile suit.
• Two Beam Sabers - with two clear pink beam blade effect parts with vigorous beam detailing are provided for showing these weapons in use. When not in use the beam saber handles can be stored on the backpack of the mobile suit. An additional set of beam saber handles featuring pegs are also included with this kit which offer a more secure connection when the weapon is held in the hands.
• Shield - featuring an arm connection piece and a flip out handle allowing for it to be firmly connected to the side of the arm. 

A wide array of hand options are included allowing for a range of posing opportunities both with and without the included weaponry.

The kit also includes a 1/144th scale standing Lowe Guele pilot figure.

For additional surface details a range of marking decals are included with this kit. These include caution markings, unit designation markings and various chrome details to be used across the inner frame and outer armour of the kit to provide fine surface details without the need for complex masking and painting.
