This RG gunpla of the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero (TV Version) from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing features a new design take on the classic mobile suit with enhanced surface details and a more mechanical focus giving the impression of a more realistic looking machine when complete.
Articulation has been improved compared to previous iterations of this mobile suit in model kit form. Particular attention has been paid to the wing binder on the back of the mobile suit, this has been redesigned for this model kit and features mechanisms that allow the thrusters within to extend when the wings are opened.
By reconfiguring the included parts it is possible to recreate the neo bird mode and additional gimmicks are included to further enhance the displayed model in this mode, including extensively leg and foot transformation to reveal additional thrusters.
The beam sabers handles can be stored in the units shoulders when not in use. The twin buster rifle can be split into two rifles allowing recreation of some key iconic poses from the anime. Exclusive to this kit the buster rifles also feature an extending barrel.
There are multiple opening and closing hatches on the mobile suit, including:
- Shoulder beam saber storage
- Cockpit hatch
- Chest intake vent covers
- Deployable machine cannons in the shoulders
The shield features an extending gimmick as well as linked articulation on the small side wings.
This model kit allows for extremely expressive and dynamic posing, the hip joints have been designed to allow for a near unprecedented range of movement including swinging side to side to allow for enhanced in flight poses.
For added stability a locking mechanism has been incorporated into the wrists of the kit to allow a better posing experience with the large twin buster rifle.
